To be more environmental friendly, we stop providing bottled water for our guests. There's a boiler in every room. Customers can use it to boil tap-water.
Due to too many NO-SHOWs recently,
a deposit is required to obtain a confirmed reservation.
Please note the cancellation policy before committing to a reservation.
Cancellation Policy (5% of total deposit will apply for handling fees.)
+8 days prior to check-in date : 95% of your deposit will be refunded
3~7 days prior to check-in date : 45% of your deposit will be refunded
If the guest failed to show-up on the arrival date (No Show)
or cancellation of room reservation is done after the 72 hours threshold
(3 days prior to the arrival date), the deposit is not refundable.
The refund will be made through the credit card you use to purchase,
however it could take around 30-45 business days for the actual crediting to take place depending on the bank's practice.

Reservation is only available 2 months before the date you want to book.
ex: if you want to book a room on 10/15, you can make a reservation after 8/15.

check out : before 11:00 ( to check out, just insert the room key into the mailbox at the front desk of ShanHaiGuan guesthouse.)
we are close at 21:00. please DO NOT book the room if you can't check in before 21:00.

We don't have pick-up service, and taxis can not come inside the old street to our front door.
You'll have to walk along the Jishan street about 15 minutes to our guesthouse.
We are in the mountains, so you might see insects, frogs or squirrels on the way to your room.
Our rooms are all on the 3rd and 4th floor without elevator. You’ll have to carry your own luggage to your room.
So if you are afraid of these creatures, or if you have heavy luggage or elderly companion who is not able to climb stairs,
please consider this situation before you book a room, thank you !
